Fuel Cell
REICH has been producing components such as bearing sleeves, intermediate rings, bearing plates, differential gears and intermediate steering shafts for fuel cell compressors in trucks and stationary applications since 2023. The parts are manufactured in Mellrichstadt and at REICH's US location in Arden, North Carolina. The manufacturing steps are complex and can take up to four weeks for a single part – partly because the highest quality requirements (pressure, cleanliness) must be met for the materials used and special certificates are required for quality assurance. REICH can offer batch sizes of 100 to 1 million pieces per year for this growing market.
